Lemon Myrtle Bread
Voel, a bakery in Kushiro, is baking and selling Lemon Myrtle bread.
Both the bread rolls and loaf bread are very popular.
I toast the bread which tends to bring out the aroma of the Lemon Myrtle.
The bread has no preservatives.
If you are in Kushiro call into Voel and pick up some Lemon bread.

If you make bread here are the ingredients.
Flour, salt, sugar, raw yeast, powdered milk, vegetable shortening and Lemon Myrtle.
The bread rolls also contains butter.

Lemon Myrtle spotted growing in Sapporo
I enjoy growing plants.
I have about 6 bonsai. Not full size bonsai but mini bonsai.
Some are pine trees, there is a rose and a few others that I don’t know the name of.
I have also grown some Australian plants such as Eucalyptus and Banksia from seed.
I am happy to say that I am now growing a Lemon Myrtle tree.
It grows native to the Australian native rainforests. However, it is now in doors in Sapporo in the middle of winter and doing very well.
札幌でもレモンマートルの苗を育ていますよ
植物が大好きです。育てることは本当に楽しいです。
盆栽も6鉢あります。普通の盆栽ではなく、ミニ盆栽ですよ。
松もあり、バラもあり名前を知らない盆栽もあります。
オーストラリア産の植物（ユーカリやバンクシア）を種から育てたことがあります。
現在、レモンマートルの苗を育てています。葉っぱは大きいですよ。
レモンマートルはオーストラリア東海岸沿いの熱帯林地帯で自生しています。
しかし、札幌の真冬でも僕のアパート内で頑張っています。

Royal Exhibition Centre Sapporo
The Royal Exhibition Centre in Melbourne has moved to Sapporo. Well, at least for 1 week. An ice sculpture of the Royal Exhibition Centre is located at 5 chome in Odori park. Why the Royal Exhibition Centre. Well, it was awarded world heritage status in 2004. The 1880 and 1880 world expos were held at this venue. It is also part of the YEO program.

メルボルンのロイヤル・エキシビション･ビルは札幌に移りました。少なくても1週間です。大通公園5丁目にロイヤル・エキシビション･ビルの雪像が作られました。なぜ、この建物だろう？2004年にオーストラリアとしては初めて文化遺産として世界遺産に登録されました。1880年と1888年に開催された万国博覧会のために建設されました。なお、日豪交流年の1つのイベントです。
