自己紹介
最初に、僕の自己紹介をさせて頂きます。
30数年前、オーストラリアのナウラという小さな町で生まれました。
ナウラという町はシドニーから南に約200kmに位置します。
僕がシドニーで日本語の勉強を始めたのは今から12年前のことです。
オーストラリアだけではなく、日本でも日本語を勉強したことがあります。
それは8年前鹿児島大学で1年間勉強しました。とても貴重な時間でした。
その後オーストラリアに戻り、近畿日本ツーリストシドニー支店に就職しました。
そこで4年間半日本からの特別なツアーの現地手配を担当しました。
2001年12月、僕と妻は眩しいビーチの常夏のシドニーをたち真っ白な雪景色の札幌に来ました。
それからあっという間に3年が経ってしまいました。
これまで日本の上と下、札幌と鹿児島での生活を経験しましたが、まだ、住んだことがない本州についても是非覗いてみたいと思います。
I have given you my name, but who is behind the name. I would like to give you a brief introduction at this early stage. Well, I was born in a small town called Nowra over 30 years ago. Nowra is located about 200 kilometers south of Sydney. I started studying Japanese about 12 years ago in Sydney. I studied at both universities in Australia and in Japan. I spend 1 year studying at Kagoshima University about 8 years ago. A very valuable experience. I returned to Australia and found work at Kintetsu International Express. I spent 4 and a half years arranging specialized tours for Japanese groups.In December 2001 my wife and I left the sunny shores of Sydney for the white snow fields of Sapporo.
3 years have passed by very quickly. I have spent time on the extremities of Japan, Kagoshima and Sapporo but yet to discover the hidden treasures of the main land.
36年前のある暑い日、オーストラリアのナウラという小さな町で僕は生まれました。 それから21年後、シドニーのAnsett航空で勤めながら、日本語を勉強し始めました。 その後、鹿児島大学へ留学し、日本語をいかして近畿日本ツーリストで働くことが出来ました。 2001年12月、日本人の妻と一緒に、彼女の故郷である札幌へ行くことになりました。 2003年9月、レモンマートルとの出会いがあり、レモンマートル関係の商品を取り扱うビジネスを始めました。 2005年は日本全国にレモンマートルの香りや魅力を普及させたいと思います。
KURRUTTI is an Aboriginal word which means 'fresh' and our line of Lemon Myrtle products all share this quality. Lemon Myrtle was used by the local Aboriginal people both in cooking and as bush medicine. Lemon myrtle is very refreshing. The Tea is very uplifting and relaxing. The Essential oil is very bright and calming. The other products that are made from the oil have the same uplifting qualities and are made from only natural ingredients. We endeavour to provide fresh ideas, service and products.
